faur.site sets no advertising cookies. It uses two kinds of cookie, described below, and you can switch the analytics ones off on this page at any time.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 for one purpose: to see how this site is used so that we can improve it. That means which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether the booking page is working. Google Analytics sets cookies beginning _ga that identify your browser with a random number for up to two years. They do not contain your name or your email address.

We do not use any of this for advertising. We do not track you across other websites, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not combine what we see here with anything else. Google runs the measurement for us as our processor, on our instructions, and the advertising features of Google Analytics are switched off.

UK law allows analytics used only in this way without asking for your consent, as long as we explain plainly what we are doing and give you a simple, free way to say no. That is what the switch below does.

Your choice is kept in your browser's local storage under the name faur-analytics. That is not a cookie, it is not sent to anyone, and it applies to this browser on this device. Switch analytics off and any _ga cookies this site has already set are deleted and Google Analytics is not loaded again. You are welcome to email info@faur.site instead, and we will confirm it in writing.

Functional cookies for booking

The booking calendar on the Faur Bearings page is provided by Cal.com, and payment is taken by Stripe. When the page opens, the calendar loads, and Cal.com sets the security cookies it needs to run it and reports any errors to its own monitoring service; Stripe's cookies are set only if you go on to pay. Both are governed by Cal.com's privacy policy and Stripe's privacy policy.

Everything else

Our two typefaces are served from this site, not from Google Fonts, so nothing about your visit reaches a font host. The contact form is handled by Formspree, which receives what you type into it and nothing else. There are no social media pixels, no advertising networks and no third-party tracking on this site.
